School Production - "High School Musical Jr"

Dear parent,

It is with great delight that I announce the sale of tickets for this year's School Production 'High School Musical Jr '. This is a fun Disney classic which centres on the blossoming relationship between Troy, who is a high school jock and Gabriella, the new smart girl at school. They meet on a family vacation and become attracted to each other while singing in a karaoke competition. Rediscovering each other at school, their relationship and their surprise decision to audition together for the school show are thwarted by the school’s current leading lady, Sharpay, and Troy and Gabriella’s well-meaning friends. Finally, Gabriella and Troy find a way to be themselves and are rewarded with the lead roles in the school show. Full of catchy songs and exciting dance routines, this musical explores issues of friendship, first love, and acceptance.

We have so many talented students at CGS that we have two different casts! Tickets will be very popular so I recommend booking yours quickly.

We are very excited to be able to hold our production at the Elgiva Theatre in Chesham, giving students the opportunity to perform in a wonderful venue in the town. It takes place from Wednesday 9^th February – Saturday 12^th February (Saturday’s performance is a matinée). We are also performing to over 600 children from local primary schools on 8^th February.
