I am delighted to let you know that the Scholastic Book Fair will be in the school Library from Monday 29^th November – Friday 3rd December 2021.  The Book Fair will be open to the following year groups at break and lunch:

Year 7s and Yr 8s Monday 29th Nov, Wednesday 1^st and Friday 3^rd Dec

Year 9s - Yr 13 Tuesday 30^th Nov and Thursday 2^nd Dec.

• The majority of the books are full priced and we receive commission (in book form) on sales over £300.00. However, there some great bargains too - please see the attached brochure with selected titles and the full titles list.
• We are happy to accept cash payments during the Book Fair when the students visit in person. If copies run out, we will take payment and will be placing an order immediately after the Book Fair ends so that delivery will be before the end of term.
• Also, once again we are offering a Parent pay facility which will open on Tuesday 23rd November through which you can specify the titles and prices of the books required, and pay for these from your account. Your child will be given copies of these books if they are available while the Fair is in school, otherwise your requests will be added to the main order, for delivery before the end of term. The deadline for Parentpay orders is close of school on Monday 6^th December.
• Sadly, we will not be able to sell posters as we have in previous years, but there will be the loose stationery (cash only). Stationery gift packs, personal journals and activity books will be available as listed in the attached information.

Please browse through the catalogue and titles list with your children and support the Book Fair and the Library either by Parentpay or via your child visiting the Library with cash. In previous years, CGS Library staff have been able to choose between 120 and 150 books for everyone to enjoy from the commission earned.
