CGS Senior Netball Team Clinch District Championship Title
The CGS Senior Netball Team delivered an outstanding performance in the first week of February, being crowned District Champions following a dominant series of matches mid-week. Across the tournament, the teams secured a string of impressive victories, dropping points only once with a single draw. The B team also celebrated success, finishing a strong third overall.
The achievement reflects the commitment and skill of a talented group of players, many of whom have represented CGS Netball since joining the school in Year 7. For the Year 13 athletes, the tournament marked a significant milestone—their final competitive outing for CGS.
As they prepare to take their next steps beyond school netball, CGS extended its congratulations and best wishes to Francesca, Georgie, Olivia, Bethan, Maddie, Izzy, Ayla, and Lauren. Their leadership, dedication, and contribution to the programme have been widely recognised and celebrated.
