The Piano Project
At CGS, music is at the heart of school life. Every day, students from Year 7 through to A level use our pianos for lessons, rehearsals, ensemble work and performances. However, many of these instruments are now aging, with worn keys and declining sound quality. To ensure our young musicians have the high‑quality instruments they deserve, we have launched The Piano Project - an ambitious appeal to raise £22,000.
This fundraising target will allow us to purchase three new upright pianos, a baby grand, and a digital piano, along with providing essential ongoing tuning and maintenance. These improvements will benefit all students, from beginners discovering their musical talent to advanced performers preparing for exams and concerts.
