MCAS (My Child At School) Parent Portal
My Child At School (MCAS) is Chesham Grammar School's new parent portal, and will be rolled out to current parents ahead of the start of the new academic year in September 2026.
Parents will be able to access real-time student data performance for their child(ren), such as attendance and attainment data, timetables, exam timetables and behaviour points as well as general useful information about CGS including the academic calendar and communications.

| My MCAS Account Activation Email link has expired? | You can self-set up an account via the MCAS login page using the email address the Activation Email was sent to, and the School ID: 17125 or postcode: HP5 1BA. |
| I have not received an MCAS Account Activation Email? |
Provided you are a parent/carer with parental responsiblity, and the school has an email address on record for you*, you can self-set up an account as above. *In the case of incoming Year 7 students, the school only has the email address of the parent who made the admission application to Bucks. That parent/carer will need to activate their account and complete the admission form, adding the second parent/carer contact details and submitting the form. Once the school has accepted the new/additional contact request, you will be sent your own MCAS Account Activation Email. |
| The MCAS login page is saying my email address is invalid? | Only the email the school uses to contact you will be linked to MCAS. If you have a new or different email address, please contact us so we can update the contact record for you with the correct email address. |
| The primary contact has added me as a contact but it is saying my email address is invalid so I cannot set up an account? | You will need to wait until the school accepts the new/additional contact request, when you will be sent your own MCAS Account Activation Email. |
| What do I do if I have forgotten my password? |
Click the Reset Password link on the MCAS login page. |
| I am not receiving my password request when I request it? |
Firstly, check your junk/spam folders in case the email is there. Secondly, we might not have the right email linked to you. Please contact us to check. |
| I get the message 'incorrect email address' when I attempt to login? | Only the email the school uses to contact you will be linked to MCAS. If you have a new or different email address, please contact us so we can update the contact record for you with the correct email address. |
| My email address associated with MCAS has changed, what should I do? | Please contact us so we can update the contact record for you with the correct email address. |
| I am not receiving pop up notifications from MCAS, what can I do? | When you first install the app you are asked to allow notifications. We recommend that you do, so that your app alerts you to new messges. If you need to adjust your settings later on, depending on the device you are using, you will need to go to Settings > Notifications and activate or allow the MCAS app to provide you with notifications. |
| How do I know if I have a new notification on the app? | Like most apps, you will see a red dot appear next to the app's icon to signify that there is a new notification message to read. In the app itself, the number of unread messages will appear next to the messages icon. On the web view, it will appear on top of the email icon. |
| How do I check my details and my child/children's details on the system are correct? |
Go to the Data Collection menu on the left-hand side to see the details we hold for you and your child/children. You can submit changes to us using the same Data Collection screen. See here for how to do this. You cannot check the details of the other contacts linked to your child/children. Those details are only available to the other contact. |
| As contacts we both share the same email address is this a problem? |
No, that's absolutely fine. When you log in with a shared email you will see a message that asks you to pick the profile/the contact name you want to use to view the data. Once logged in, you will be able to change the profile by clicking on the name in the top right, and selecting change profile. |
| I can't find the App to download |
