what's happening at Chesham Grammar
Open Faith Week
In the final week of the Spring Term we were delighted to welcome Andrew Patterson, Minister of Evangelism at Emmanuel Chesham, John Spence, Parish Youth Minister for Chesham, and Timothy Cho, activist and former UN speaker to talk to our students as part of The Christian Unions’ open faith week.
Mr Cho shared his experiences growing up in North Korea and spoke about his journey to the UK, where he later discovered his faith and the value of forgiveness. He also described his work in the UK, including time in Parliament and raising awareness about conditions in North Korea. Students from across the school listened with great respect and maturity. Their thoughtful questions during the Q&A showed real engagement with the sensitive topics discussed. We are very grateful to Mr Cho for giving his time and providing students with a valuable opportunity to learn about life in North Korea and explore the role faith has played in his story.
