A Literary Mystery
To celebrate World Book Day, our Intra-house Traitors event transformed the school into a den of literary mystery! Each tutor group adopted the name of a famous book character, but three groups were secretly tasked as "traitors" to sabotage the game from within. Students had to hunt for hidden scrolls and study character profiles in the library to unmask the villains. After several banishments and “murders”, Austin House emerged victorious, successfully identifying all 3 traitors. The 5 tutor groups that survived to the end were rewarded with a biscuity treat. Darwin, Franklin and Shakespeare each had one traitor left undetected in their houses, and therefore, the traitors scooped the remaining biscuits! A huge thank you to our Librarian, Mrs Newport-Hall, for arranging and leading such an engaging and entertaining event. Filled with teamwork, strategy, and plenty of laughter, it was a brilliant and memorable way to bring our favourite literary characters to life.
