September saw the U16 Cricket Senior Trophy Final take place, which was carried over from the summer term having been postponed twice due to the weather. Captain Charlie won the toss and elected to field first, and his decision paid off brilliantly. Some outstanding bowling performances restricted Thorpe House School, our opposition, to 94-9 from their allotted overs. After the loss of a few early wickets, India held the innings together superbly, remaining at the crease for 14 overs and providing the platform for victory. With the tension building, Lennon struck the winning boundary in the 18th over, securing CGS's first cricket County Cup triumph in nearly 20 years. Congratulations!
