Careers Guidance for Year 11 – Morrisby profile

As part of our career's education programme, we are inviting Year 11 students to take advantage of the "Morrisby Online" careers guidance service once they have finished their GCSE assessments.

Morrisby is a career guidance tool that helps students to identify potential career paths and make informed decisions about their study options. We have previously offered this guidance once students start in Year 12, however offering this earlier in June would be more beneficial doing this ahead of starting sixth form or further education in September.

The online assessment measures a variety of elements including aptitudes, career interests, work attitudes, talents, motivations and personality. Once the assessment is complete, students will be taken through the results with our careers adviser, David Richie who is Morrisby trained. This follow up will be done online with students and alongside parents should you also wish to access the results.

The assessment will be taken at home, and as they take 100 minutes, it is important that students make this time available and will not be disturbed or distracted. The assessment includes a number of timed aptitude tests, which are tests of maximum performance and as such they will require their full concentration.

The cost of this subscription is £72 and will be run directly with David Ritchie.

If you would like to sign up your son/daughter to do this, please complete the following two-stage process by Monday, 7th June 2021.

1. Please arrange payment of £72 to be paid to David.
