Austen House visits Tiggywinkles
Austen House Captains Lotta and Iona, House Leader Ms Maishman, and a handful of students visited Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital to deliver all the generous donations of towels, newspapers and pet food that were so brought into school on their charity day in October. Tiggywinkles staff were delighted to meet our students and thanked them for fundraising £3,114 to support the work they do treating ill and injured wildlife. Whilst they were there, Austen House adopted three animals for the year; a fox, a deer and, of course, a hedgehog! Thank you to the whole CGS community for supporting the Austen Charity Day.
