CGS 75th Birthday celebrations continue
Today in the CGS Canteen, Culinera our school caterers, helped students to celebrate 75 years of Chesham Grammar School with a 1950s birthday party menu and celebration cake.
The menu included Cheddar and roasted pineapple bites, Welsh rarebit, spam fritters and French toast for break time snacks with beef hash or cauliflower cheese with mixed vegetables or Cornish pasty or Quornish pasty with potatoes and vegetables - all followed by either pineapple upside down tray bake or jam roly poly with custard.
Culinera also made a 75th anniversary birthday cake which our Head Girl and Boy had the pleasure of cutting.
We hope the students enjoyed themselves and look forward to more anniversary events as the term progresses.
