Get involved

We’re all volunteers on the Friends. We’re passionate about ensuring our children have the best experience at Chesham Grammar School.

Everyone with a child at CGS is a Friend of Chesham Grammar School and we’d love your support in whatever way suits your time availability, interests and skill set. Everyone has a talent and we’d love you to share yours to help out on our team even if you can only spare a few hours every year!

Ways you can helpPhoto 2

  • Get involved with the Friends!

We’d love your ideas, need people to organise activities as part of a small group, help in the lead up to events or afterwards. If you’d like to be involved, please join our Circle of Friends by emailing friends@cheshamgrammar.org – giving your name and contact details and we’ll add you to our database.

Even if you can just help for 1 hour a year, it all helps.

  • Become a team member

FOCGS is registered as a UK Charity and ensures all funds raised are administered in accordance with Charity regulations.  We always welcome people to attend our meetings – mostly now on Zoom so you don’t even have to leave your home!  We meet around six times a year, usually on a Tuesday evening to run through activities.

  • Donations

Please keep a watch for our requests for auction and raffle prizes. If you work for a company that can donate a lovely prize (we’ve had things like hampers, a year’s supply of biscuits, make up and homeware), do get in touch.
